How to Put in Contacts

1. Wash your hands

2. Dry your hands with a lint free cloth

3. Remove lens from packing

4. Inspect the contact lens for defects

5. Check that the lens is not inside out

6. Use fingers to control eyelids to prevent blinking

7. Gently place lens onto the eye

8. Blink a few times and allow the lens to settle.

Additional Tips

-It is best to have short fingernails as it will make the removal process easier. Long fingernails puts you at higher risk of a corneal abrasion.

-It is also best to remove make up before putting in or taking out contacts as the makeup can stick to the lenses (hard to remove)
